One Week in Paradise

“Two friends - ages 70+ - decided to escape to Tuscany. Villa Nobile was the destination. Everything about it was magical, especially the grounds and astounding views. We savored every moment. The only slight disappointment was that walking to Montepulciano was very challenging on narrow, dusty roads. Fortunately, we had a car that eased our journey. A wonderful home, well located with access to so many Tuscan towns. We highly recommend it.”

Villa Nobile was absolutely fantastic!

“I highly recommend booking this villa for your Tuscan vacation. We found it to be everything and more than we could've asked for and the views were absolutely stunning. The villa was equiped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space both inside and out. The location worked very well for taking several daytrips to surrounding towns. Sherry was amazing with communication from the start. Check in was efficient and Eileen showed us everything. She was also available for us during our stay. Each day the villa was cleaned and freshened up. Each bedroom was nicely decorated and the ensuite bathrooms were as well. No expense was spared in this villa and the quality comes through. Perfect for a 4 or 5 couple vacation or a large family. 100% would stay there again!”

Perfect!

“We are a group of friends who had a truly magical time here. The home is beautiful inside and out. It is super well-equipped for cooking and hanging out. We really liked the location. Montepuliciano is a wonderful town to stay near and the Tuscan countryside is beautiful. Everyone involved with Villa Nobile was incredibly welcoming, from the owner, Sherry, to Eileen and Jamila who took care of us in Montepulciano. Highly recommend! It really did exceed our expectations.”

Perfect Week at
Villa Nobile

“We can't say enough about this property and the host. Sherry was most knowledgeable and helpful which allowed us to experience a magnificent week in Tuscany. She helped us plan our week and provided great recommendations for tour guides, drivers, private chefs, and restaurants. She was always very responsive. As for the Villa, it exceeded all expectations. It is even more beautiful than the pictures. It was well stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group of 4 couples, and the daily housekeeping was an extra touch. The kitchen is fabulous, was perfect for our cooking class and private dinners. Although we didn't have a rental car, we found it a nice walk to the San Biago Church and would take a trolley the rest of the way uphill into town. Very easy! We would highly recommend this property for couples and family gatherings. Thank you Sherry!!!”

Fabulous, warm house in the center of Tuscany

“We loved everything about Villa Nobile. It has been amazingly restored, is warm, well outfitted and cozy. With great room options, all with their own full bathroom, separate casual family quarters for reading and/or TV watching, and great open kitchen, dining and living area for entertaining or just gathering, We particularly loved the outside veranda area with its comfortable seating. With the nights starting to get cool, we made a fire every night, usually with a bottle of wine brought in from a vineyard we visited and shared stories from the day. The grounds were beautiful with great views of the olive trees, grape fields and valley. In warmer weather, the pool, also beautiful, would have been a great hangout spot. Importantly though, the house is incredibly well located, a short walk up the hill to the hill top town of Montepulciano, a short drive to beautiful towns such as Peinza, Montalcino and all the others. Above all, Tim and Sherry, and Eileen and Marcello, made the trip with the help and hospitality. Can't wait to go back again.”

Incredible villa in Montepulciano

“This lovely villa hosted our two families (4 adults and 4 teens) for a week in June of 2016. What an incredible property. Every room is appointed with new furniture and is simply stunning. The whole house has been renovated and updated from top to bottom. The pictures don't do the villa justice - the kitchen is fantastic and great for cooking, hanging out, or even having a professional chef demonstration and meal preparation (highly recommended). The patio is huge and with the fans and fireplace provides a great place to unwind after a day in town or to dine outside. The view of the valley below is so picturesque. The house is very large and provides a lot of room and storage for each guest. The large dining room by the kitchen seated both families easily with room to spare. The sound system is a nice touch that connects with your mobile phone. We had Wifi coverage throughout most of the house and outside. We would definitely rent again and look forward to spending more time at this absolutely gorgeous property.”

Heavenly Villa in the Heart of Tuscany

“We are a well traveled group of five couples who stayed in Villa Nobile for a week in June 2019. The villa itself is an extraordinary structure, beautifully renovated with enormous regard for its vintage and yet, with remarkably modern technological systems. Quite a combination. That being said, it is its location on a hillside with an awe inspiring view of the Tuscan country side that leads us to describe it as the quintessential Tuscan Villa. Every detail is considered and taken care of with thoughtfulness and charm. And, the property manager and house staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and reminded us of white glove service at the most exclusive resorts. Villa Nobile was truly wonderful and exceeded all expectations - it’s hard to describe the feeling of walking through the front doors and, to be honest, pictures do not do it justice! When I found a hair diffuser in the bathroom I knew I was in paradise! The attention to detail, the well-stocked kitchen, the multiple sitting areas, allowing for privacy, and the overall seclusion of the Villa, make it the perfect Tuscan paradise. We will be going back - with more friends and family.
Thank you for fantastic vacation.”

Magnifico!

“Absolutely the BEST vacation we’ve ever taken! The owners, the house, the property, the staff were all just amazing! If you get a chance to go to Italy and to Montepulciano, do NOT miss out on this gorgeous villa. Villa Nobile was stocked with EVERYTHING you can think of. And the concierge service was outstanding. We will DEFINITELY be going back again! :) ”

Most beautiful property I have stayed at. Easily.

“This property was more than I could have EVER imagined. Unbelievable views, immaculate rooms and the decorating was truly a thing of beauty. Each room has its own feel and uniqueness. It truly was the most amazing place I have ever stayed at. The infinity pool was amazing an so nice to be able to use during the hot days. There was more than enough room for 10 of us. We never felt crowded. The grounds are some of the most beautiful I have seen for a privately owned property. Eileen and Marcelo (property manager and grounds keeper) are wonderful people who made our stay even more incredible. I consider them friends of the family now. This place sets the bar for any other trips I will take and I know it won’t be topped. THANK YOU to the owners for creating such a wonderful place!”

The Ultimate Tuscan Experience & Location

“Our stay at Villa Nobile exceeded our expectations exponentially. Booking online and coming from Canada we were a little hesitant of what we would find. From the minute we walked in the door we knew this was going to be a spectacular location. The online photos, were almost as beautiful as the real thing. The house very spacious, yet cosy and had all the comforts of home. It was clearly designed and decorated in great detail, with each room being unique and comfortable of its own decor. The property was breathtaking, spacious and easy to navigate. We were walking distance to Montepulciano, but wanting to just chill and relax at Villa Nobile, made it tough to decide what to do each day. We were 4 couples, had ample space and we had the most memorable experience at Villa Nobile, we really didn’t want to leave. We were there at the end of October, where the days were beautifully warm and the nights were slightly chilly, but the outdoor fireplace kept us warm. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the ultimate Tuscan experience. This is a definite jewel of a find and we wish we could return every year, but hope to be back soon!”

Vacation of a Lifetime!

“This vacation set the standard...Villa Nobile is absolutely exquisite. It has the design touch of a five-star hotel with the comfort and warmth of a family home. Nestled in the mountains of Montepulciano, we had the best of every world. Villa Nobile is surrounded by vineyards and winding roads with the town just a short walk away. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the owners were so knowledgeable about all-things Italy and fantastic to work with! I would never stay anywhere else - loved every minute of this vacation and can't wait to go back.”

Villa Nobile: Story book living!

“The stone-pillared gate opens into a stunning, fairy-tale setting. Villa Nobile is a beautifully renovated villa with gorgeous, manicured grounds and breath-taking vistas. The setting is unmatched anywhere I have visited. The groundskeeper is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly loves his work keeping the beautifully sculpted gardens and grounds in pristine shape. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits and conversations with the concierge and housekeeper. They are delightful ladies with interesting ideas about what guests might enjoy doing and seeing during their stay. Everyone we met was friendly and generous with information and ideas. The view from the wrap-around veranda and any window is simply gorgeous: rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards and distant working farms. Each room and the veranda are beautifully appointed and comfortable. There are so many details and fun items to observe, you need to be sure to spend some time just enjoying each room! I even found myself taking pictures of the incredible bathrooms which were spacious and included double shower heads and heated towel bars. The half bath tucked underneath the original stone staircase is my favorite though! We visited in June, so the pool was where we spent the hottest part of the day. We were so comfortable around the pool that it was difficult to tear ourselves away. It is possible to walk to the town and surrounding sites, just be ready for rather steep streets at times and winding, narrow dirt roads. Biking is fun too. I'm afraid my first visit to Italy may have spoiled my tastes! I'm not sure I will ever be satisfied staying anywhere else. I look forward to our return to beautiful Villa Nobile”

Fabulous Tuscan property. My favorite of eight
similarly priced Tuscan villas previously rented.

“Fantastico!!! Arriving on a sunny afternoon, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the grounds, the expansive vistas from each part of the property, and the way the centuries old villa blends with the countryside. The inside of the home is mind-blowing -- a perfect mix of modern touches, e.g. lighting and kitchen, with ancient brick, wood and stone. The inside appointments are a great mix of the antique and the modern as well. Particularly striking was the use of a large carpenter's bench, perhaps 200+ years old, as a sideboard with a large hand painted lithograph of Montepulciano above it. Each room has unique decor and creatively designed bath. A one who loves hot showers, I was immediately struck by the prodigious and immediate supply of hot water, even if others in the home are simultaneously taking their showers. Montepulciano, a delightful town that has retained its medieval character and has been used in the filming of several movies, e.g. “The Twighlight Sagas” and “Under the Tuscan Sun,” is only minutes away by car and can easily be reached on foot or bicycle by the more adventurous. I could easily spend a week in this town alone, but many important Tuscan towns such as Pienza of “The English Patient” fame, Montalcino, famous for its hallmark Brunello wines, and Arezzo, with its great art history and wonderful Giotto’s are within easy striking distances (under an hour’s drive). Likewise, gorgeous Umbrian towns, e.g. Assisi and Orvieto are similar driving distances. Siena and Florence are just a hour plus away so the villa is a great location for visiting delightful towns or conducting wine tastings among a wide variety of Italian wines. I will revisit this property again and again.”

Everyone loved this villa!!

“We were stunned by the beauty of the home, both inside and out, and of course the amazing countryside! Not sure where to start! I'll start with the owner and host, Sherry. Sherry was so friendly and helpful - it’s clear she loves Italy by the excitement and professionalism with which she assisted us with wine tours, places to eat/drink/shop and trips to several beautiful nearby towns. She and the property manager were a fount of information and always available to assist us with excellent daily itineraries. They really took our vacation to another level! The home is beautifully landscaped and is in a gorgeous location. We spent hours on the back covered deck as well as the poolside patio gazing down the valley (or up at the stars at night!). Inside the villa, it’s so tastefully decorated and perfectly combines comfort (the beds and pillows were sooooo comfortable) and style (I loved the Tuscan feel) and convenience (the baths and kitchen were stocked with the best quality of everything - I even came home and ordered the same brand of hairdryer they have at the villa - because it was the best hairdryer I’ve ever used!). The showers are hot, the sheets and towels are so soft and the rooms are very spacious and very quiet - some of us stayed up very late and the noise did not carry in to the bedrooms and didn’t disturb the people who went to bed earlier. We stayed at the villa for a week in late July with our 9-yr old son and two other couples. We rented a car in Rome and found the villa about 2.5 hours away. The town it’s located in (Montepulciano) is a absolute gem with lots of shopping and dining and I could spend days just strolling around there. The day trips to Florence, Pienza, and Sienna were easy and fun. We really can’t wait to come back to Monte and explore more of Tuscany and when we do, we will definitely stay at Villa Nobile!”

An Amazing Retreat in Montepulciano!

“Villa Nobile is an amazing retreat and launch pad to the perfect vacation. What a location! My family of five, along with another family, stayed in this gem of a home and property for two weeks and we were delighted with the experience. The owners have thought of every detail in their renovation of this villa, minding the historic architecture yet seamlessly incorporating modern enhancements. We thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious hospitality--evident the moment we drove through the gate. Sitting on the pool patio that first morning, drinking coffee and absorbing the view of the valley was unforgettable. The villa, the views, the fabulous town of Montepulciano and nearby Tuscan and Umbrian sites kept us entertained and happily occupied every day we were there. Indeed, we left knowing we wanted to return and explore more places within easy reach of the villa. Villa Nobile is a beautiful and welcoming home, and we can't wait to go back!”

The Perfect Tuscan Villa!

“This property is exquisite. Extremely well appointed. It lacks nothing! The structure itself is historic. It has been renovated to perfection for today's lifestyle. Each bedroom has beautiful views and is well sized. Every room has a luxury private bathroom. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The wrap around porch and outdoor fireplace is wonderful space during the day and night. It is an excellent Villa for an extended family vacation. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Eileen and the owner are a wonderful source for information on things to do. It is a good hike into town. Montelpuciano is now one of my favorite Tuscan Villages. It is easy to manage with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Views are spectacular all around. Definitely a 5 star!”

Amazing!

“This is a truly special place. The owners have gone way out of their way to make it comfortable and to anticipate your every need. The villa has all the amenities, loved the gym, hot tub, pool, tv and game room (with games!), outdoor fireplace. Beds are fab comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, plenty of room for 10 or more. We had ages 20-60 all were 100% pleased. The location is great as well, private but easy walk to town. We flew into Rome and out of Florence for an extra sighseeing opp. The view is unparallelled, we ended up spending more time at the villa than we had planned as we loved just hanging out there so much! And there is an English speaking "concierge" who lives in town and she was a text away for all our questions, she was amazing too, especially when travelling outside of the states, for basic Qs like groceries, restaurants, taxis. Would go back as soon as I could!”

A piece of heaven in Tuscany

“We had a wonderful time in Tuscany. Villa Nobile is beautifully decorated, spacious, and perfectly located for walks to Montepulciano as well as short drives to Pienza, Siena and Montalcino. With 5 master BR, well-equipped kitchen, veranda overlooking the valley and the pool with an outside fire, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The villa was well maintained, clean and furnished with both comfortable seating and beds as well as lovely accents. The villa owner was incredibly helpful, providing suggestions, making reservations, and coordinating to ensure our vacation time was without disruption. The staff at the villa were fabulous! They took care of all our needs and provided suggestions. We enjoyed brunch at La Grotto, dinners at Rubino and Acquacheta and wine for sunset at E Lucevan le Stelle. The villa is a great launch point for visiting wineries for both Vino Nobile di Montepulciano as well as Brunello di Montalcino. We have already recommended the villa for our friends and would definitely return to savor the sights, flavors, and history of Tuscany in the future.”

Fantastic Tuscan Getaway

“This property is spectacular! Ancient and new perfectly blended for an outstanding Tuscan experience. The grounds have been beautifully landscaped to provide stunning views from every window and outdoor seating area. The inside of the home has been designed to comfortably accommodate 5 couples. Each room includes a beautiful en-suite bath, comfortable bed and peaceful, private space. The common area includes a fantastic gourmet kitchen, huge dining table and comfortable seating area---perfect for convening after a day of site seeing, shopping, winery tours, etc. The patio with outdoor fireplace and dining table are excellent for enjoying good Tuscan wine and antipasto! The infinity pool and it's nearby patio seating area are a perfect spot for fantastic sunrise and sunsets or just to sit and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the valley. Montepulciano is a wonderful Tuscan hill town. It is a fantastic walk from Villa Nobile, past the majestic Chiesa di San Biagio and up into town to Caffe Poliziano for cappuccino and croissant for breakfast. Not for the faint of heart but well worth the view over morning coffee! Highly recommend the tasting menu at Ristorante la Grotta for anyone that loves a beautifully prepared meal. The location of this Villa is perfect for venturing out and exploring the hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria. There isn't a better place to relax after a long day of sight seeing and touring. We will be back!”

“Our family enjoyed the stay at Villa Nobile, it had everything that you could want for a vacation. The views are spectacular and the home is equally. Staff was helpful and the town is close enough to walk for those ambitious enough. Sherry has the most comprehensive "house book" I have ever seen, that covers A-Z about the home, town, and even some italian, we loved it. Great place to stay.”

This villa is exceptional in every way

“We visited as a family of ten, six adults and four children. The villa was amazing , providing privacy for all and wonderful common spaces for the family. The chefs kitchen was excellent for our family dinners which we enjoyed out on the gorgeous patio. The pool provided a lovely spot to cool off after a long day of exploring with wonderful vistas in every direction. The villa is truly central to the most beautiful parts of Tuscany, especially the wonderful town of Montepluciano at your doorstep. The villa is also close to first class restaurants , wineries and grocery stores. We were well looked after by both the concierge and housekeeper. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a first class experience.”

Villa Nobile is a Divine Experience

“Though I had been to Italy before over 20 years ago, I had never experienced the magnificence of staying in a medieval-age villa in the countryside of Tuscany. While the view at Villa Nobile was spectacular and the air invigorating, it was the quality of the villa itself that dictated the experience we had during our stay. Every update has been made with such attention and care, and clearly with the intention of enhancing how you experience Montepulciano. Sitting on the deck or by the pool was the perfect morning ritual, and between the gorgeous kitchen and the naturally-delicious whole foods of Italy, cooking and dining felt like being in a 5-star restaurant. The beds were ridiculously comfortable and presumably intentionally, the bedrooms and bathrooms were all designed with no other bedrooms underneath or above, so privacy was never an issue. The concierge staff were perfectly gracious and accommodating, and every tour and restaurant we went to - recommended by Villa Nobile - was fantastic. I'm not sure anything in Italy can top it. We already miss you, Villa Nobile, and hope to see you again next year!”

Breathtaking. Simply dreamy!

“Villa Nobile exceeded every expectations that we had. We visited in June, 2017. The minute that the gate opened and we drove into the driveway we were blown away. The house has been renovated to perfection. The finishes are all high end and the furnishings and décor were exquisite. Each bedroom is decorated with a specific theme. We stayed in the Sienna bedroom. It was simply beautiful. The bed is extremely comfortable. Each bedroom has its own unique bathroom. The infinity edge pool and grounds are stunning. The views of the rolling hills, olive orchards and vineyards are breathtaking. The concierge, housekeeper and groundskeeper are delightful. I have been to Italy before, but never to the heart of the rolling hills of Tuscany. We enjoyed our walks into town (be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes), bike riding, and visiting wineries. This was a life-changing vacation for my family and me. I can't wait to go back next year.”

Spectacular Tuscan Villa with Breathtaking Views

“We visited Villa Nobile in March, and it exceeded our expectations. The house and grounds were stunning and interesting to boot - it was clear the décor and furniture were expertly curated. Each room had its own unique personality and thoughtful touches were everywhere - from the original stone staircase to the custom ironwork in our bedroom. My favorite room was the kitchen - the huge island was perfect for entertaining and cooking. We found ourselves eating and chatting around it often throughout the day. We stayed in the Cortona bedroom which was spacious with a great view and a comfortable bed. The room also had a loft that served as a perfect place for our luggage and wine (but would also work great as a kids bedroom). Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom which was really nice (complete with double shower heads and heated towel racks). The villa grounds were immaculate and surrounded by stunning countryside views. It’s exactly what you’d expect from Tuscany, but even more beautiful than you could imagine. Since it was still chilly in March, our favorite evening activity was relaxing in the hot tub while stargazing and reveling in the silence. We even spotted a shooting star one night! We’re from New York City and walk whenever possible. The location of the villa made it easy for us to stroll to town for coffee, delicious meals, and shopping. We also walked to a beautiful winery called Caterina Dei. To help picture the entrance of Dei’s cellar, think of The Guggenheim Museum and then turn it upside down. If you enjoy walking and can handle hills, I'd suggest bringing comfortable shoes to explore some of the surrounding area on foot. The villa also has bikes. Next time, we'll come back during the summer - the pool was calling my name all week. If you’re looking for an authentic, luxurious Tuscan experience, you found your next vacation home at Villa Nobile.”

Best Ever

“I have traveled extensively and often rent properties for my stay. Villa Nobile is the most beautiful and well appointed home that I have stayed in to date. The house feels utterly rustic Italian with wide arches of brick and stone, period antiques, and gorgeous vistas of vineyards and olive groves. The house though is thoroughly modern with a well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms for our large group, private and quiet bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows, luxurious bathrooms with heated towel racks and lots of hot water. The villa has incredible views of the property and the Tuscan hills. We were fortunate that the warm spring weather permitted entertaining from the terrace and lunch on the poolside deck or overlook. Our group was diverse with a couple who appreciated one of the first floor bedrooms because of the ease of getting in and out of the no step shower to a couple of exercise junkies who used the gym equipment every day, frequented the hot tub and ran the hills. I found the town of Montepulciano charming with cute shops and great places to eat. We used the house as a base to tour nearby towns and vineyards. We spent a few days just hanging at the villa appreciating the beauty of the place. One evening we took advantage of the local cook and enjoyed a delicious dinner "at home" and feasted on the leftovers later. I cannot recommend Villa Nobile more highly. I can't wait to return and use the beautiful pool!”
